we just got one. now that's a great sounding amp!
i've heard they did a 20th anniversary amp that's based on the shiva. i think i'm officially a big bogner fan.

6L6 or EL34?
Shivas are among my favorite rock guitar amps.
But as I've said before, take off the back, and if possible install a fan In the front. Shivas eat output tubes.

Or bias it a little colder. Downside is that the tone will change somewhat.

Or bias it a little colder.
But this changes much of what makes Shivas SO great.
Better to improve ventilation, IMO.

this amp isn't traveling anywhere. pulling the back plate off is doable, and not a big deal. changing the bias will change the tone too much. we haven't powered on the other amps in days. the shiva is getting a nice workout.
