I guess rock makes sense. It's definitely a bit on the poppy side of the rock coin.
I'm actually really excited to hear how this one comes together...I really like this song quite a bit (from an old band of mine but this is a new arrangement and performance).
And no laughing at my singing.

Hi j.hall,
I am trying to build a sample catalog of mixes and remixes so that potential clients can hear my work and determine whether or not I am a good fit for them.
I am interested in participating in the IMP and I would like to know if any of these mixes can be used to show off our talents to clients?
Either way, I still want to participate but it would be an added bonus for me to have these permissions... so is it ok to use my mixes of IMP to have clients hear what I can do?

From the rules sticky at the top of this forum:
"UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ARE YOU ALLOWED TO USE ANY IMP SONG FOR ADVERTISING. NO MYSPACE!!! if this happens, the future of IMP will be jeopardized in that artist will not be able to trust me in keeping their material from random distribution of unapproved mixes."
PS, just providing the information-- those are J's words on the subject.
I would encourage you to participate though, if you don't have a portfolio of completed work yet, then I can guarantee you that the practice afforded by IMP will be really valuable.

Yeah, that's what I'm banking on. Thanks for the reply.
