Friday nite - we are going to be at the Dangerous Music Party at their old studio in the East Village (am I right?)

You can email Bob Muller for passes or get them at the show!

Looking forward to seeing into all you!

Sounds like fun Phil,  I guess I'll see Bob or Chris at the show and "get the goods"... I'll also bring "the goods"... Chris will understand what I'm talking about...  Very Happy

I think I'm gonna have to miss it this year. I usually love hangin and seeing old and new friends but I'm a bit overworked. I might try to make it in for a while on Sunday after my son's football game. Anybody from here planning to be there on Sunday? How were the Friday and Saturday night get togethers?
At least I got to see Phil and Noah. Rip Rowan from ProRec and I had a good but brief visit.

I missed it yesterday and seems like I'm going to miss it today as well.  I have some turn time pressures from a couple of clients so have to be in the studio this weekend, and also decided to put the cash necessary for a full pass towards my savings for a winter vacation.  BUT - I'll be there tomorrow in the afternoon and have plans to meet Ed Littman on the floor around 3:00pm.  Maybe folks will be able to get some dinner somewhere in Hell Kitchen after the floor closes?  There's a good Turkish place on 44th & 9th that's reasonably priced.

Best regards,
Steve Berson

I didn't get to see much Friday as I was In a Taytx http://taytrix.com/ iso booth doing some jamming with Vicki Genfan http://www.vickigenfan.com/. Yet I did see some faces I new walk by ..u hum  Mr Fossenkemper Laughing

I did however have the privlage to meet up with Mark Wilder, Thor legvold & a few other esteemed talents & visit Marks studio.
The highlight was holding the original Miles Davis Kind of blue reel.
I'll be there tomorrow to continue the fun.

Hey Dave, thanks for making time for us! Always a laugh when I go down there! What you did to Leon's room should have happened a long time ago. Some really good energy going on in there, too.
One of the "bosses" - Tom Coyne - who will never ever talk/bond over gear was saying that your speakers sounded really good. He knows good sound and I agree. Those new speakers are just about the best thing I've heard. Classe amps put them over the top!

Well deserved!
Congrats Dave!

I'm never going to wash my hands again after holding those reels Razz

That's probably the most awe-inspiring thing I've experienced as far as music-related things go, truly amazing.

Mark was a great host and played some great tracks for us, as well as gave us a tour of the complex and different rooms.

It was funny that Ed and I managed to walk 30 minutes talking about all sorts of stuff before we figured out who the other one was! Laughing

I'm sorry I missed so many other people who were there, Mike Fossenkemper, Dave G, many more from both Brad's forum and GearSlutz. Maybe next year...?

Cheers,
Thor
