You will find me at front of house in the Special  Events Room, for which I am the sound designer .

LOTS of really cool presentations this year in two channel and surround.

I'll be there Friday - good mastering presentations on the schedule.

Steve, I'd like to meet you this year after a few near misses, and Dave, I'd like to buy you a Coke.

Also, for any out-of-towners, the Edison tour is well worth the trip.

We'll be down Friday morning to Sunday afternoon.

We're big Coke drinkers by the way...

I'm presenting at a poster session. Hint: It's about a magical substance known as vinyl. (Now those obscure questions about modulation levels will make sense, Paul!)

First time at an AES convention, first time in NYC, first time presenting a paper in about six years, and the trip is completely as a self-funded amateur. Hopefully I won't walk the plank on the first day or something like that  Embarassed

I'll show up too.

I'll be there as "H. E. Pennypacker", a whealty industrialist, or as "Dr. Martin van Nostrand".

Still hesitating. Tough decision.

I'll bring along Al Grundy. If Sean Davies makes it over I'll alert him too. If anyone can make you walk the plank it will be them. Al gave the definitive answer to your obscure question and made me walk the plank.

Can we agree on "KwanKwan"? It's an official Blackwood & Greenberg™ name.

I'm not trying to scare you. You would be well served by making their acquaintance. They both have 60+ years of experience in disk recording and deep technical knowledge.
