The life of this AE
« on: May 04, 2010, 11:06:27 PM »

Is pretty good...

Had a great couple of weeks tracking and mixing. Probably no top 10 Billboard...but I did record a bowed banjo....very cool sound..U87 through an API pre and a 560 with an ELOP...

the best thing is my daughter is getting married friday...but he's a video guy...oh well...I always wanted a son...now I got one....and he's actually a pretty cool guy...

He actually did a gig as an SR guy for a small touring group. He knows a bit about sound, but video is his passion....I'm thinking he probably has a better chance making a living as a video guy than an audio guy...i hope there is more money in video.....

Congratulations Brian, they're made for each other. The 87 & the banjo that is.

Oh, congrats on your daughter's marriage too. May they have a long happy life together.
