Here is a great video on the moon landings, including efforts to retrieve data from tapes here in Australia because NASA lost theirs. Also included is the work of my nephew's good friend, Sally Langford who is researching the existence of planets similar to earth using the earth glow on the dark side of the moon. IMHO, very interesting info here.

The moon landings are a great reality check. If you're not sure if the person you're talking to has a firm grasp of reality, just ask if they know that the Apollo astronauts actually did walk on the moon.

Just watched a great doco  produced  for BBC Worldwide Channels.  Some fantastic interviews with the communication techs in Australia who were involved. Well worth seeing on this subject. It's called:
