A Great VST Flanger?
« on: June 22, 2009, 12:38:33 AM »

Anyone know of a great flanger plug that will sync to tempo?

The PSP 42 doesn't have what I'm looking for, a couple of other delays I have sort of flange, but I'm looking for deep flange with a minimum of digital junk.

Is there such a thing or am I cursed until I can get two good tape decks?

The Audio Damage stuff is pretty sweet.

Kevin,

I saw what you had to say about the Audio Damage stuff in another thread and looked at it, but it didn't have tempo sync. I'm looking for something to hit the same beat of each measure. The plugs I have now all have sync but the effect is lame.

Now I'm rethinking the tempo sync requirement part.

I'm not lazy. I don't "need" a button, I'll turn a virtual pot myself and get it as close as I can.

Thanks, I'll give it a shot.

This one seems to have sync.

I've used their products on a couple of mixes so far, and I like them, especially the dub delays.

I have never reproduced the sound of actual tape flanging using a digital device or plug to my liking.  I think a lot of the character is in the inherent wow and flutter.
