Bandwidth of the Ear
« on: July 06, 2004, 09:36:17 PM »

I've started this thread to move said discussion out of Dan's 192 kHz thread.  If a moderator could move the posts beginning with mine, #10798 07/04/04, on the reason's the ear's upper limit may be higher than has been believed, I would greatly appreciate it.  In deference to the strong views of some, I won't be adding to that thread and will defer any responses until they are moved here.  Thanks in advance.

Hi Bob!
George is a pretty busy guy, so I think it might be better to copy and paste stuff from your original post to kick off this thread.
Have fun.

It was my hope that he had some assistance in that regard.  If that's not the case or if it just doesn't seem worth it, I'll let it die.

I sent him a message asking him to do so if/when he gets a chance.  I, for one, think it's an interesting conversation.

Thanks, Nika.  Here's hoping.  There are several things that have been said there that I'd like to address but I lack a masochistic streak.  Smile
