ITB Buss Compressor-The Glue

This is more of a heads up than a review as I've only been able to try this compressor on a Film Cue so far.

After going back to the track this morning, the jury is still out on this one, but, check it out....it may be the ticket for some genres.

Looks like a more-knobs version of the SSL buss compressor.

But maybe it will sound good...

I downloaded the demo

it's VERY heavy handed. when it's on you hear it.

Like Slam and some other compressors, it seems designed to give you that "hey! That's COMPRESSED!" sound rather than to do its job transparently (or even translucently)

it sounds essentially NOTHING like an SSL compressor but that never surprises me.

Yeah! This compressor is one of a kind. The side-chain is very useful and the fact that it goes all the way up to 2k is cool. I'm still trying to figure out what "range" exactly does to the sound. It's interesting. Yes, this thing sounds good. Very punchy. When will we be able to buy it?
