Tried the Elemetal Audio limiter (Finis) and it sounds pretty weak.Nothing in the same league as L2, Elephant, UAD PL etc.
I can't wait for the PSP MasterComp to be available for the Mac.

Don't hold your breath - time is at a premium and trying out plugins is not high on the list. Try them out for yourself and see what you think...

Fair enough Brad.

I was just hoping for a few more evaluations from guys who are experienced with high quality gear.

Even so you should take recommendations as opinions derived in different listening environments, with different monitoring systems, different engineering skills and difference's between what people deem euphonic or clinical. Like B says, you really have to try them out on your own, in your own suite and with your own ears.

I haven't run it completely through it paces yet, but if it makes you feel any better, I recently picked up MasterQ from PSP.  I admit I thought it sounded pretty good and quite a deal for the money.

I'll stick with my outboard gear for the heavy lifting on masters but I put in on my Peak workstation in case I wanted to make a quick tweak.  I listened to a handful from different companies and this was the only one I thought was worth considering.

Look, I know it's mean.  But sometimes the end justifies the mean.
