need tranfer from DVD-RAM in NYC
« on: February 18, 2009, 02:32:53 PM »

Anyone in NYC with a DVD-RAM drive?  I have a potential client who has mixes from 1999 with the only copy being a disc in this format.  Would need files either FTP'd back to me or I could provide a USB flash drive if transfer can be done when I bring the disc over.  Please email me at steve at totalsonic dot net if you can help!

Best regards,
Steve Berson

What's the format?
My MacBook Pro reads fat32 formatted DVD-ram discs from our Deva16 recorder.
Don't know about UDF.

No clue.  I figure most likely Mac though, as DVD-RAM drives were more commonly found on Mac's back then.

I appreciate the offer.  Again - afaik this is the only copy of these particular mixes (!) so I'd very strongly prefer to avoid shipping the disc.
