if you think about it......

no internet= no free music downloads.

no free music downloads= equals cd sales.

cd sales= stores open.

stores open= companies with jobs.

companies with jobs = employees getting a pay check.

employees getting a pay check= money flowing.

money flowing = a healthy economy.

beyond the obvious benefits for the music biz, just apply the same concept to all goods sold.

the internet is only ten years old. it has not be monetized or properly regulated. it is toxic just like the toxic home loans. it has only killed whole industries. if new papers and magazines went off line people would buy the hard copy. if there were not 7 dollar trade, there would be no day traders pushing the market up and down in hopes of either doubling down to make up for a loss...or to try to make a killing. the internet allows for instant gratification, but to what really?

i do not fear technology, i fear unknown technology and the information it transmits being abused.

there is so much more.

these guys sold to news corp for 600 mil and change.

they made no sense.
