Hope feels pretty good.

I'm hoping people will break out of their 8-year long negative mind sets, explode in celebration, start enjoying life,

spend tons of money, make big budget records again, and of course take it to real mastering engineers!

I'm optimistic.

This is a really, really profound moment in human history.  Congratulations to all who worked for it.  Let's savor it tonight, then come January we have to get to work repairing this listing boat!

Maybe the nation's long, Republican nightmare is coming to an end.  ...

This is not the end of the Republican nightmare. This is not even the begining of the end of the Republican nightmare. But it is, perhaps, the end of the begining of the end of the Republican nightmare.

Big sigh of relief from down under.

A momentous occasion in the USA's history and indeed the world.

Now if you can put out going guys behind bars it would be perfect.

Congrats

I've been sitting here like Wilford Brimley in "China Syndrome" at the control console, watching all the gauges rise, these last few years..watching the core temperature of this place rise beyond what the designers intended.

But those clever framers of the constitution put in a system of control rods called the electoral process. A way to keep critical-mass from occurring. We have dropped the control rods into a runaway core of right-wing abuse of power.

In the words of Wilford Brimley, "The System worked."

All smiles here. Good to see some people finally come to their senses. And to see some who don't still vote the right way.

I got an interesting E-mail from a manufacturer in China and they are elated over the results of the election. They feared McCain. I wonder why?

I can't think of the last time I could feel, in my heart, that I was proud to be an American.  And then it hit me last night.  A flood of relief, joy, and belief... in the man and his ability to think, listen, and lead...and in his understanding of our place in the world and in the future of the world.

To go from a man who said "we'll all be dead in the future so what does it matter" to a man who thinks about his own daughters a century from now... it's a tidal reversal, a global, human vision of hope.

I'm proud to be here, now.
