Neologisms
« on: October 26, 2008, 03:48:33 PM »

Lately I've been hearing (or reading) some Neologisms in the English language and I'd like to share them with you; please feel free to add to the list.

Here they are:

A-Palin: similar to "appalling" but more on the line of "stupefying";

Palin-drome: a phrase that no matter which way you read or try to interpret, never means anything useful;

Palin around: when a supposed partner uses you to have visibility and promotes his/her own agenda in detriment of yours;

Obamorama:
1- larger-than-life; 'I've got a new 72" TV, now I watch all the movies in Obamorama';
2- Huge crowd: 'man, last night's show was an Obamorama, the place was so packed that people couldn't even move'.
