Right you are, A800, M79, A827 - no problem, but the JH-24.. wow , and it is actually not vibrato, it's amplitude fluctuation, especially noticible on the edge tracks... it typically wavers a few dB in synch with the reel scrape...

Yep, I'd consider wow and flutter more like vibrato as vibrato is a variance in pitch and tremolo is a variance in volume. Both are simliar sounding as they are fluctuating sonically and often rhythmically, but the key is vibrato is frequency and temolo is volume.
