I haven't heard her record, but I think it's sad how blatantly her new single plagiarizes Motown licks.

I think it's great that someone is able to sing something you find reminiscent of Motown licks.

Very unique sound... refreshing to find something extra-ordinary.

I think I like her. I've heard 3 cuts and they're all cute and groovy.
Remember, she's about 4 years old (okay, not really)
and everything like Motown is old-timey music to her. It's a nice little rip and she really does seem charming in the interview stuff I've read.
Hopefully as she grows up in the industry she'll some of the depth we all hope Amy Winehouse has, based on Amy's Sarah Vaughn influence.

Yes, I think she shows a lot of promise... although as per usual I think she may have been pushed through to the public a tad early.  But that seems pretty standard these days.

I do think that she will develop very well as time passes though.

Oh, Saw her live in Stockholm afew months ago...the band was horribly stale/studio musicians...

The video is flawed (there are annoying dropouts in a few places) and her pitching is a bit shaky for the first couple of lines or so, but I think it captures the great atmosphere of her Glastonbury appearance and I love this song. Nothing wrong with the band either, IMO.
