Evangelicals hardly represent Christianity
« on: August 18, 2008, 10:21:02 PM »

Polls indicate that only 1 of 18 christian groups back McCain over Obama.  Evangelicals.

A group that defines itself clearly by the answer to 1 single question (abortion) and has only 1 seeming concern (supreme court justices), would back a man who doesn't even seem to speak their language, who cheated on his wife and left her for a rich beauty . . . as long as he's willing to deliver a rigid one word answer to the abortion question.

But don't lose faith McCain supporters, Obama's lead amongst nearly all religious groups has narrowed since June.  So if you can keep scaring the public enough, keep telling the lies long enough, you might convince enough people not to trust themselves.  Never underestimate the stupidity of the public.  They elected Bush twice.

Note that in the results self proclaimed Evangelicals favor McCain by 2 points, while evangelicals determined by polling questions favor McCain by 61-17.

Actually, the only person who can be said to truly represent christianity is Jewish.

I know my Star Wars and Luke and Darth are *not* Jewish.

If you had Dr. Liebowitz and Dr. Goldstein, then you'd have a paradox.
