Wow.  Talk about your bad luck.

I wasn't aware XP had a "blue screen".  I thought that was pretty much alleviated after Win98.

Surely they weren't running 98...

No, no, no.

The BSOD is most certainly a feature in XP that i have encountered numerous times.

Not quite as many times as i have in Vista though.

Yeah, it's still there.  But you know what?  I run 3 XP machines, and I've only seen it once, and that was when a stick of RAM died.  I suspect a hardware failiure, or some crappy software Smile

Vista, I have no idea about ... I refuse to run it ... I treat it kinda like Windows ME (a half-breed illigitimate red-headed step child that should have never been allowed out of the basement).
