I've been pretty happy with my MOTU and DP4setup, but I only just got started with it before a really busy semester hit at the University (first year as full time faculty, 70 hour weeks, bla bla...), and when the school year ended, I found that unicornation was off the air. I can find my way around the basics of DP, but the Nation was my main source of info about new products and compatibility issues as the SLLLOOOOWWWW change over to OSX was taking place, and now that it's gone, I feel lost without being able to ask question of the very generous and more experienced users who shared their time helping DP newbs like myself.
For instance, when I left off, I had a UAD-1 card sitting unopened in a box because there was as yet no way for it to work with DP4 in OSX. Now, I STILL have the same card sitting in the same box because I'm too much of a technodummy to install it and the OSX drivers (which I'm sure exist by now) without blowing up my G4. So, if anyone has any clue where the survivors of Unicornation might be hanging out, I'd be most grateful for any tips.
