Hi, has anyone info. on how to wire a Gefell male 7 pin Tuchel from the Gefell N691 power supply to female 7 pin Tuchel on the MV691/692 pre? Had no problem wiring up a lead from the N691 to the outputs on my mixer using standard mic cable, XLR to female 7 pin Tuchel. Looked at a lead for my other N691 and it seems to have 5 wires plus shield from N691-MV691. Pretty complicated. Stupid questions. Is it necessary? Where would I buy it? Can I just use mic cable? Excuse the ignorance, its hard to get any info. on these connections..

Hi, got this great info from another member here(thanks Panman!)..

Here is his wiring diagram, it works perfectly. I just made 4 cables!

This works with standard mic cable. 3 is shield. The left is the mic connector. It doesn`t matter if on the right side the pin 4 is connected either to pin 1 or 2.

Weird, when I'm logged in, I can open the image. Otherwise it gives me a permission denied message. I've saved it now and you can open it as an attachment. Hope this works..
