9/11 was 9iu11iani's whole campaign. And, as a New Yorker who lived through 9/11, I have to give him those two weeks. But it was all about appearance, though at that moment, appearance mattered. If you look at actual substance, his 9/11 performance was deeply flawed to say the least. His record as mayor was mixed, but I am very happy that he is now spoken of in the past tense.
