That is absurdly cool, although perhaps not the most efficient use of solar and wind power...

The renders make it look like a giant stack of jenga once it's been rearranged.

I wonder how they've considered "wind factor".  From what I understand, in NYC when you design a skyscraper you have to know the wind's impact on the building and the building's impact on the wind -- how the wind's strength and path will change and how that will affect surrounding buildings.

With the shape able to shift, I can't imagine how one plans for that.

nice building.. hard to believe it will be built..

OT: notice that all of the load is carried by the central core, where the elevator shafts are, which is much stiffer and denser  than the real estate area.

people and their cars will be in the prefab floors which are suspended by the central column.

the central column will probably be a tall cage of steel filled with concrete, with the concrete working in compression and the steel in tension.

the stiffness, weight, mass and hardness of the central column are therefore superior than the sorrounding building material.

the twin towers had a similar load-bearing approach.
