Hilary has the right to run her campaign as long as there are primaries.  It's her money (literally).  How she spends it is up to her.  And the people who vote in the remaining primaries deserve the opportunity to express themselves by voting.

She obviously is looking for all the clout she can muster before the convention.

I can't disagree with a word of that. But is she going to be the nominee? No. At this point is she hurting Obama' chances? Yes.

Quote:

Finally, would you still encourage her to quit if she were a man pursuing this same course?

Oh please.

Yes,I too encourage all to look into Siegelman's case, it's pretty astounding the extremes that Rove & his cohorts have gone to.

That's a great quote. Along the lines of "Never look for conspiracy where incompetence will suffice" (or something like that)

Hilary isn't hurting Obama one whit.  He's leading.  He's going to lead.  And he already kicks McCain's ass.  She isn't going to sink him.  She can't and not have the entire Democratic Party pissed off at her.

"Oh Please".  Hey, it never hurts to double-check one's motives.  It's important to ask one's self basic questions.  If thats not your motive then cool, but it could be someone else's.

I think Hillary and Barack have been talking. I wondered if she was doing damage there for a while but I don't think she is. I think it's good that there are two campaigns out going after McCain sort of separately. They have soft balled the comments toward each other and I think they are preparing each camp to come together. Her continuing her campaign might be worth the data collection alone and having two camps out going after the right wing positions will make the Democratic case an easier one to make.

With the 24 hour news cycle to deal with, I think it might be better to have two campaigns on the Dem side being covered. This means that the Democratic ideas are getting twice the coverage. The differences between the two DEM candidates will be less and less an issue as time moves on and old John will be getting it from two camps, not just one.

This will help the American people realize how incredibly stupid it would be to vote for "right wing John"..

At one point or another {early June?}, She will get her and her killer machine behind Barack, and they will win HUGE.. I don't think she'll be on the ticket though..

I'm just thinking out loud and could be full of shit though..

Well you're certainly full of shit but I like the way you think.  None of that had occurred to me.  Good insights that are thought-provoking.  But you're still full of shit.

EDIT: I just reread this post.  Ivan, I hope you know I was kidding - you know, the "shit thing".

Interesting angle JI ...  I agree.  The more you think about it, it could be a distraction technique having the two go at it bigtime in the press robbing McCain of the tube time.  Brilliant!

Go OBAMA!

(they should let Canadians vote in this one!)

How is what I said an ad hominem attack?

I wasn't attacking anyone. I was just quoting a pithy "law" that says essentially what Larry said.

Just because you're paranoid, it doesn't mean that everyone's out to get you.
