Well-written article; all true, I am sure, since it correllates with the policy as I understand it of that nation.

It reminds me of another article that I saw which said that we need to "praise the Chinese for their Olympics, so that they  have a healthy happy feeling about opening themselves to the west".  I think the media has held back to a degree, and that is good, but I would have felt deprived if I hadn't been able to read a grittier story such as this one about the real goings-on at the Faux-lympics.

In the Sydney olympics opening ceremony, the Sydney Symphoney Orchestra mimed to a recording of the Melbourne Symphony orchestra.
Atleast Midnight oOil played live!

Why would they do that- were they afraid he'd make a mistake?
