catchy in a weird way. it reminds me of oingo boingo but without the 80s chessyness, and with more rock.

Cool and FUN song Scott.  I wish I had bands like this coming in! (the ones I get are "serious" musicians... boooorrring)

Good job on the recording too.

What do you mean Rick?  You live in VAn!  You can smoke weed on the streets and sh*T!  You must have all kinds of weirdos up there to record.
I hear ya on those dumb ass "Pro" players thing.  Man, when I see or come in contact with those guys, I usually stomp out their fire quick.  Either they walk or they play.  They usually walk.... Rolling Eyes   but who gives a fuque eh ? Smile Thanks to my dumb disrespectful ass!

But really... there are so many "great" players out there with zero taste.  It's laughable!

Life is stupid like that.

Thank you for the kind words... Smile
I think I lost even more hair from making this album.  The band pretty much abandon the album and I ended up righting and playing on 60% of the album with the singer.  It wore me out, because I was working on other projects too... you know...  SAme old routine indie bullsh*t for us indie guys!

shall I post another?
and please *everyone*... post something you've done!!!!

Dude, at first I thought... "what the hell?"

...and then I couldn't stop listening.

But I do have to say that the hair power chords come out of left field!  Laughing

The bass sound is perfect for that song! Very cool man.

Thanks Jason! Smile

No doubt JT...  You should see what their fans are saying... Rolling Eyes

ummmmmm?

This band has put out a bunch of material.  It's very (how yousayyyyyyy)  AVante=Garde.
When we finished this album, it was so weird and pop that their fans don't know what to make of it....

Post some stuff JT!  Smile

I mixed this one a little while back, really enjoyed working on it as the client was really cool and collaborative:

Hundred Years War

you've all heard it already.

here's a pic  of what a live show looks like.  we try to keep everything simple and let the music do the talking..........or shouting.......or teeth kicking.

LOL... smoking pot on the street... by the looks of the neighbourhood it's legal to smoke crack and crystal meth in public too!

I came to heads with some  "Rock Stars" in my studio just last week... Bummer ... as my buddy Shot Bravo sez :  "they make the rest of us look better"  Razz

Here's one that Shot Bravo and I did last summer... it's not really indie but we had a lot of fun making something we are pretty proud of...

"If I Should Die" - Shot Bravo

Rick,

That sounds fantastic....
What a great song with such flare and swagger.
Everything sounds just right.
