DBX 160/161 vca
« on: May 13, 2004, 04:07:44 PM »

I have recently burned up the model 200 vca in my old 161. Just wondering if anyone has one laying around that they would consider selling, or ideas on a replacement. Thanks--

I have a couple of nice class-A 2001s. I understand that they were the last iteration of the discrete 202s, before the 202XT (IC-based) version came out. pin-for-pin compatible with the 202 assuming that's what you have.

$25 each sound good to you?

I have the feeling that I have more experience in my little finger than you do in your whole body about audio electronics..

Hello,

I have a couple of original dBx 160 units for servicing. Does anyone have a schematic or can advise where I can get one?

Several requests to dBx themselves have gone unanswered.

Thank you in advance for your help.
