just found this thread but i wondered, have any of you ever seen or owned a fleximix stero comp? i've got one and it's paired with an acopian pwr supply, as mentioned in this thread.

anyway,it seems pretty rare and just wondered if anyone else had any info.

I also have one of these as a desk module - its stereo / mono switchable...I think in the desk module configuration they are extremely rare - like 10 or less ever made type rare..

I do believe it was Mr. Toft who told me that too.

There was also a Trident rackmount stereo compressor which is pretty rare, not sure if the design / electronics are the same as the Fleximix.

As for the 'sound' of the Fleximix compressor - to be honest its the last on a long list of other choices I have on hand, including a +- $150 DBX-160X...

The Flex compressor is super rare & looks cool though!
