Air purifier: Extend the life of your gear...and maybe yourself.
« on: November 11, 2007, 06:26:05 PM »

I've thought about getting an air purifier for my studio, but I always balk over concerns about their effectiveness, especially considering what some of them cost. But every time I dust my studio or open up my computer, the thought comes up again in my mind: I want an air purifier! Well, check out this article:

Apparently, Whirlpool is the FMR Audio of air purifiers.

I think I'm a finally get one...

Whenever I look at the prices of these things I think to myself: "why not go to Home Depot and get a furnace filter (hepa?) for about $3.00 and make a box for it (plywood $10.00)... stick a fan ($20.00) in it and put some dryer hose ($10.00) on it for I/O into the room in question"
