Good board technician in LA area?
« on: May 03, 2004, 07:18:53 PM »

Hey All,

I'm buying a PM-1000 in the LA area, and I'd like to have it shipped from the seller to a good local tech for a check-out, possible recapping, etc. before I have it sent up to the Central Coast.

Any best candidates for this kind of work?  And ideally, any guesstimates of hourly rates?

Many thanks.

Give Cello a call.

It's very possible that either Gary or Dave will do the gig for you... might cost you more than the desk, but they're two of the best I know.

Thanks, Fletcher -

I actually found Jim Williams at Audio Upgrades since my last posting (and he just got another PM-1000 to work on, so he should be good and 'warmed up' when working on mine).

Appreciate the Cello reference, though - may be handy for another time.
