I only use Samplitude for mastering here at the house and we play from Sonic and capture using Sadie at Georgetown Masters where I do my attended sessions.

I defend Pro Tools because most of the folks who knock it seem  unaware that Pro Tools has come a long way since version 4. I use HD systems for tracking my production projects because this involves recording at least 30 tracks at once and that's what most studios have. I mix in Pro Tools M-Powered (listening to a Benchmark DAC-1) and dither the stereo output to 24 bits. Because I only record great musicians, (life is too short!) I don't need very much in the way of signal processing.

They say the heart of Rock & Roll is still beating, which is amazing if you consider all the blow it's done over the years.

What about "Welcome to our market. Can I help you shits?"

I think I'll have to consult with the HR manager.

"Welcome back again to Brad's forum, you have a good taste."

"?I expected so much more from you than "say's" and "irregardless."?

How so?

First off, there's no apostrophe in "says."

Secondly, "irregardless" is not a word.

Where's Wittman?  He usually loves this kind of pedantic bullshit.  You too, Terry ... or should I call you "Mr. Spelling Police"?

It's not a word? I thought it meant that it wasn't regardless. Kinda like regular ain't regular when it's irregular.

Maybe it's the same difference.

The word is "regardless."  The other word is a double negative.

It is indeed. I enjoy the erroneous contraction, double "neg", and even the occasional oxymoron ["same difference"] as much as the next guy.

I'll be more overt with the 'ol sarcasm next time.

Czar Kasim Sultan, perhaps?  A bass player of Romanov descent with an acerbic sense of humor?

Despite legality, three immediate problems with the car security system come to mind - how safe is it in an accident? what if you lost your keys? and what if you're a pedestrian walking by while someone breaks into the other side of the car?

Just thinking...

On the Simpsons, Abu, after setting something on fire, questions:

"What kind of country is it where flammable and inflammable mean the same thing?"
