1/4-1/3 of the hourly rate is the norm for freelance pay that I was told. The guys here make "what Brad said."

50 - 75 an hour in NYC is like getting 15 an hour in KC.  i think i'll stay here in KC and enjoy the lower cost of living.

Thats why i asked for average salary... to asses cost of leaving...
