You forgot: "I can directly rip off a traditional blues tune verbatum better than Led Zeppelin without giving an ounce of credit either." ---PJ Harvey

Anyone know who that tune came from? Pop quiz!

gotta agree with jhall on the shudder to think, sick. and the shiner record lula divinia (sp?) has kick ass rock drum sounds. Aimee Mann lost in space has some nice drum sounds, and I really like the wilco drum sounds on ghost is born in that 70 shirt over the snare kind of way.

"it's like electrical - but in nebraska!" cursive: burst & bloom

all observations meant in a flattering way.

By far my most favorite indie drum sound comes from

From First to Last "Secrets Don't Make Friends"

Yes the drums are VERY loud, but the thickness of snare and kick combined with 'thunder toms' make this song rock imo.
