William actually started the weenie discussion, but that shouldn't really matter since anyone in here has time to waste on these "important" topics.  Barry just challenged it based on his religious POV.

As a secular humanist, I have no regard for what god says, and being circumcised, I am not mad about it, and will not sue my parents for mutilating me. Rolling Eyes

I doubt I would do it to my child, since I would want him to have the best orgasm he can, although I really can't complain about the way an orgasm feels to me.  It seems pretty spectacular even without the extra skin, so I am OK with it all.

This is my friend the Enigma.index.php/fa/5758/0/
When I was living in Austin in 99 we were spending quite a bit of time together and his (now ex) wife was a tattoo artist named Katzen (the tiger lady) who is also covered in tattoos. (she even has cat whiskers)
The peer pressure was immense. It was always "come on Pete, just one little tattoo".
But I knew if I let them start I too would soon be covered head to toe in interlocking blue puzzle pieces like him. It all starts innocently enough.
Soon there would be huge armies of horned blue puzzle piece tattooed guitar players running amok terrorizing the citizenry.

Yes tattooing is all fun and games until someone has an eye poked out or horns grown on your head.

A good friend of my wife's is a Muslim woman from Africa.  She is a victim of ritual female circumcision, and her clitoris was removed.  It has caused her many, many problems in relationships, and given her many insecurities.  It's barbaric.

I was given male circumcision.  I don't remember it, and it has caused zero trauma in my life.  Last month, the AMA released findings that being circumcised DOES have health benefits, such as reducing the transmission of venereal diseases, including HIV, and reduced risks of other infections.

They also said that circumcised penises taste better.

They say the heart of Rock & Roll is still beating, which is amazing if you consider all the blow it's done over the years.

"The Internet enables pompous blowhards to interact with other pompous blowhards in a big circle jerk of pomposity." - Bill Maher

"The negative aspects of this business, not only will continue to prevail, but will continue to accelerate in madness. Conditions aren't going to get better, because the economics of rock and roll are getting closer and closer to the economics of Big Business America." - Bill Graham

Highly controversial. There are studies that "prove" the opposite.

That would be a matter of taste, wouldn't it? Wink

It's funny how emotionally charged this topic is.  I know it's a "sensitive area" for us men, but I'm surprised it's this touchy (pun intended).

There are always "studies" proving one side or the other.  But it is not the fact that something is a "study" but that it is an important study made by a group whose credentials are beyond question.  The Mayo Clinic and the AMA are two such groups.

born do die..

nature is second to technology..

mankind would be nothing without technology and industrial goods..

you must not resemble what is inherently human..

this is what I get from an image like that.

I wonder what he's going to do as phones get smaller?

What I get from the picture is:  I'd lose my phone (and possibly my head) if my head weren't screwed on.

One either upside or downside to the popularity of tatoos is that I've met a number of people with full sleeves who have the personality of a banker.

I doubt that a real banker would get tatoos, though..
