what year did they issue the 82E149?

It was an option on G-series. retrofitted to some earlier E-series. No single year, introduced sometime around 1988 if memory serves me correctly.

long story short though, it was the introduction of transformerless for SSL?

and also in '91 was when the moving faders were introduced, i'm assuming before this it was VCA?  

just a little confused because i've seen some of your earlier comments that say G and G+ is the same computer wise.
