First post on this forum, went straight to what I believe makes this section cool.

I´m currently working on a mix for IMP11, its gonna be my first mix really. Lets see how this goes.

I printed one 4 hours ago...I wasn't 100% sure about it, so I'm going over it again, but I'm pretty much done, m'self.

I love working with pop stuff...guitar pop like this is so much fun when the hooks are this good.  When this IMP is over, I want to know who this is and where the rest of this project is...

Call this a weird hunch, but I think this might generate the greatest variety of mixes...this is one of those songs where every part is easily emphasizable...I can see so many directions that I'm tempted to do several treatments.  Though that is counter to the rules, which I'm fine with.  I really dig this song, and I'm much happier with this mix than I was my last.

I had a day off from mastering, so if I didn't do it now, I probably wouldn't have the time later.

I just got the file downloaded... that counts for something, I think.   45 minutes, yeesh, and that's with broadband.

Though honestly I never forget how great broadband internet is... I was using computers back in the 300 baud modem days.  I remember how amazing it was to jump to 1200 baud - for the first time, the server could send you a page of text faster than you could read it.  Wow.

EDIT: download link deleted  Laughing

I ended up using 11 tracks in total with a couple effects guitars (I used flanger on one track) with like guitar1,rhythm,overhead1,overhead2,kick,snare,vocals as bare tracks.

Be forgiving though, I hope I didnt messed up your song because I basically left out the middle vocal part  Laughing , plus this is my first mix, I have all the stuff saved on my disk so there will be mods to it  Very Happy
