Thanks for the awesome forum so far Brad, have only been on it about a year, but have learned a lot in that time. Happy to hear you are leaving the moderation for positive reasons!
All the best,
Gregg

More time for Facebook!
Seriously though -- And I certainly don't want this to sound like a eulogy -- just a comment.
I hang around a list of forums from know-nuttin'-newbness to top-shelf thread pushers.
When
I
have some sort of technical question, or I want 'serious' consideration of an idea, I post it
here
first. The 'SNR', the lack of freaky trolls, the spirited but rarely out-of-hand debate that happens here is unique among the forums where I'm active.

+1 for John's comments.
I've given up on most forums except this one actually.
Thanks for your moderation Brad!

Thanks much Brad! Great S/N ratio with a touch of colour when it was appropriate. Be well and enjoy the extra bandwidth...

DC's nascent forum on PRW is good
Glenn M.'s webboard is still quite valid too and populated with the real folks.
and there's no reason this place can't keep validity. in the end, it's the members who post that make any forum what it is. {even if they don't post very often

Sad to hear you're leaving Brad. I wasn't participating much lately, but it was always enjoyable to lurk around here.
Best of luck in all your future ventures,
Denis

Hi Brad,
Mate, youve done well here at PSW.
Over the years youve managed to create a coherent environment for debate, deliberations, creativity and discussion.
It has led to better outcomes and an overall user experience, unlike many on the net today.
Thus, I specifically write, to congratulate you on your efforts, and Yes, they have made a difference to many readers and contributors alike, across the planet.
So thank you
Best wishes in your endeavours.
Regards,
KAyo

Slow to get in on this one Brad as it's been hectic this way too - so completely understand your reasons,
All the best for 2012 and beyond man!
