Beautiful.
About a year ago I caught the Top Gear episode where they 'raced' the Bugatti against a plane from south France to London - it's stunning.
Costs around $5M to build, they sell it at just under $2m - VW wanted to make a statement and I'd say they did...

Love that car! That video is really cool too. Can't wait to buy one of these things
BTW, the first wreck (in that car) happened a couple of days ago:

They say the heart of Rock & Roll is still beating, which is amazing if you consider all the blow it's done over the years.
"The Internet enables pompous blowhards to interact with other pompous blowhards in a big circle jerk of pomposity." - Bill Maher
"The negative aspects of this business, not only will continue to prevail, but will continue to accelerate in madness. Conditions aren't going to get better, because the economics of rock and roll are getting closer and closer to the economics of Big Business America." - Bill Graham

But does it come in Lilac?

It's a great idea to have that car, but the reality would be less than wonderful. That cowling would be bottoming out on every intersection crown, and the winces of frustration would begin to form.
But it's a cool thing to see and maybe to drive on a race track. I would pay a reasonable sum to pilot it around a track...why not?
But my everyday car has to have a bit more ground clearance.
But it looks like it means absolute business.
edit: Apparently I like "buts"

It's all bling. I like brute force, and spartan everything else.
(cup holders, a/c, heat, abs, gps, bluetooth, and 50+mpg aside)

If you can't afford the Bugati, you might be able to spring for this:
