Many of you might remember a group buy here a while back. Well after meeting with the "minister of doing business in China" ? I have discovered that my group buy was actually from a trader, not the manufacturer! After I made this discovery, I confronted the company I did the last group by from at the NAMM show, and they treated me very badly. The China government has opened the sale of merch direct to a dealer and thus eliminating the midle man/trader I have several mics that with my limited knowledge, have come up with. on the power supplies for example, instead of the 9 position polar switch, I replaced with a variable pot with a meter so you can see the voltage change to the capsule. this one is a 20mm tube mic where I opened up below the capsule.
I make no claims that these are amazing mics, just Another Cheap Mic. They will even be labeled as such This the ACM-310 tube
I have discovered situations where a C-12 or the like just doesn't cut it and get blown away when a $50.00 cheap ribbon makes it all happen. I've got pictures of most of these mics on my site. I believe that nothing will cost more than a note in the key of C (ACM) LOL
