| Phil? Those speakers are built and designed in T.O. I believe? I've been trying to get some info on them, but to no avail. Do you have a link?
If you were to list their pros and cons , what would they be?

Hey Denis,
I'm proud to say Canadians make some great speakers/amps.
The ones we use here are from Steve Kranis at Audio Hardware in Toronto. He custom built the box, crossover, and the bass drivers. We selected the drivers based on our listening tests/tastes. We love 'em. Before I heard these I was looking at (dreaming of..) The big PMC's, B&W 801's and Dynaudio C4.
Maybe one day... but I'm more than good with the Kranis now.
Just like other speakers the amp is a big part. I use Bryston 4bSST's on mine and the other room uses JBL/Urei's. You could swear that you were listening to different speakers.
We selected a driver combo that gave us a good overall balance of punch, clarity, open top and not too bitey of a midrange.
I'd probably get the same ones tomorrow. I would be curious to hear how they would sound with a Classe or Chord amp.
Our is soffit-mount stule but he makes floorstanders, too.
Steve is 20 minutes away and drops in regularly to ask/give feedback.
I'm sure he has a website? His phone number is 416-288-1458.
Steve also love cars. I saw one custom pair he made with a very bright racing yellow paint. I don't know how it affected the sound but it looked good.
