Yes, I'm sorry for hi-jacking the thread. I could have started a new one, then again somehow I didn't really intend for it to be more than a silly post.
Tik dude, the amp is the opposite of hi-gain distortion dual rectum fryer. It's like the old Hiwatts and early Marshall bass-amps. But even louder. When it distorts it sounds like fuzz, not overdrive, kinda Big Muff style. But only a hint. Most of it is just a shitload of low end. It's scary. It weights something silly and the casing is made like a piece of furniture.
studiojimi, I'm more interested in who had the knowledge and/or possibility (because sometimes it's got nothing to do with competence...) to hack the site...
The marsh did have something going for itself, with focus on musicians and composers as opposed to the rep where it's the engineering and knob twiddling that's the stuff. But somehow I just stopped visiting the marsh, losing interest and not finding it worthwhile spending my time there.
The rep on the other hand, I'm spending hours here and besides all the wonderful first-hand information I've gotten through the years I feel as if I've found a family of sorts. There is a lot of love and true intent here.
And that's probably where the difference is between the marsh and rep.
I don't know what the marsh would be, if at all, with the womb going on these days. If something new happens I'll most definitely pay the marsh a visit again, though!
Cheers,
Tomas Danko
