Yes, I'm sorry for hi-jacking the thread. I could have started a new one, then again somehow I didn't really intend for it to be more than a silly post.

Tik dude, the amp is the opposite of hi-gain distortion dual rectum fryer. It's like the old Hiwatts and early Marshall bass-amps. But even louder. When it distorts it sounds like fuzz, not overdrive, kinda Big Muff style. But only a hint. Most of it is just a shitload of low end. It's scary. It weights something silly and the casing is made like a piece of furniture.

studiojimi, I'm more interested in who had the knowledge and/or possibility (because sometimes it's got nothing to do with competence...) to hack the site...

The marsh did have something going for itself, with focus on musicians and composers as opposed to the rep where it's the engineering and knob twiddling that's the stuff. But somehow I just stopped visiting the marsh, losing interest and not finding it worthwhile spending my time there.

The rep on the other hand, I'm spending hours here and besides all the wonderful first-hand information I've gotten through the years I feel as if I've found a family of sorts. There is a lot of love and true intent here.

And that's probably where the difference is between the marsh and rep.

I don't know what the marsh would be, if at all, with the womb going on these days. If something new happens I'll most definitely pay the marsh a visit again, though!

Cheers,

So, did you stay at the YMCA until you found your own place?  Laughing

the book "wonderland avenue"
by the late danny sugarman tells the whole story.

somehow the guitarist and i were conveniently written out of the story but we were there

the roadies bub and chuck

the names were changed to chub and buck.

the story is about ray manzarek's easing into new endeavors as the doors were no longer together follow the death of  mighty Jim

iggie stayed for a while

the michael des barres

then we settled for a completely alternative psycho rocker named noah james.

the whole experience opened a lot of doors for me.

now back to mars...can you dig it?

What's the deal with the Bbasement being a "moderated forum"?

I love Traverse city, My home town. There is nothing about Cali' that I can stand for more than a couple weeks. LA is just a horrible place for me. The traffic, the smog, the heat,, I love the change of seasons and can work all I want, more than I want, right here.

The west coast of Michigan is my favorite place in the USA.
