Happy New Year! Wink As for me, I'm going to open for the first time one of my bottles of homemade pineapple mead. It was already tasting pretty good back when I bottled it six or so months ago.

Well, more technically correct, it would be called pineapple melomel. Mead is a wine made from honey instead of sugar. Pure mead is just honey, water, yeast, and maybe some yeast nutrients, and some spices. If one mixes honey, water, and fruit juice, it's a melomel. If one uses grapes along with honey, it's a pyment.

Homebrewing is something I got into some time ago. I'm basically a "keep to myself" kind of person, no significant other, so I immerse myself in hobbies. This whole music thing is the big one.
