new Channels album

anyone heard this yet? it's called Waiting for the Next End of the World and it's out on Dischord. i'll probably order it 'cuz it doesn't look like my local record store's gonna carry it.

I got it a couple of days ago and am REALLY digging it...

Sounds like it's more Jawbox, but still has some Burning Airlines (poppy) elements to it. The drumming is awesome, gtrs sound more like he's getting into using alot of effects, maybe not ALOT, but definitely more than in past albums. Overall I think it's great and seems to be holding up better(IMHO) than the ep they released.

I was kind of down on J. Robbins for awhile, but this record has renewed my faith in him, so to speak  Very Happy

really love this record. you can hear the time and love that was put into it so clearly.
