Seems like it,

FWIW there was a company in Europe which was selling all of John Entwistle's gear (other than instruments) from his estate - I bought an MPC 60, custom Moog sequencer and some SM57's ...RIP

If I were preparing a will right now I'd leave instructions as to what to do / potential resale value of my various studio bits so they don't end up in the landfill / pawnshop....

Since I can't take it with me, my plans are to pass the batan on to my daughter and son in law.

If I led a life as rich and wonderful as Steve's, I would not care what I left behind, except the work. Not that I'm unhappy with things so far. He was just was a special guy.
