Well i see Digital Radio as Extension and part of Globalisation for GSM/WCDMA/(any other crappy name:) ) for Air interface with reuse of existing BS/RNC/(any other crappy name:) networks for Teleoperators:)
Well in 3G we already have Movies and rates up to 512kbt (256kbt)
Hope somebody will be clever enough to extend standard to broadcast media not to pones but to radios as well...
but well, i don't know will Nokia or Ericsson will, hope what Ericsson will, because those guys have alternative 3G high speed solution.
