looking for acoustic chart plotting program

excel charts look shit. anybody know software that will let me import an excel or ascii text file and plot a nice frequency by SPL chart in FFT or 1/3 bands?

hmmmm.. good question.... I guess we always used excel when we do our own stuff...

yeah, maybe i just need to learn how to make excel charts look like frequency response charts you would find in a book and not "excel looking".

i don't wanna turn this thread into a "how do you use excel" thing but if excel is the only way to go, how do you get the charts to look like this:

or how do you get that correct frequency scale thing happening with the lines in the right place instead of just a linear scale with lines at every data interval?
