Yes yes.. and I love the classic confusions between sound proofing and sound absorption! Even if you want to believe that egg crates do ANYTHING... it's certainly not sound proofing..

We're talking egg crates? At somewhat high frequencies considering the size of the irregularities, and not terribly uniformly, but yeah, I guess so... Certainly not going to do anything to stop transmission!

Perhaps the 'Chrome Deluxe Shower Squeegee' from the same seller might do a better job acoustically.
