..called "my littlestudio"..

my "bedside-studio" is located in an old concrete bunker-area, live and mixingroom.

mixingroom is 6.5 meters long, 5 meters wide 2.5meters high. front wall is wood/703 and angled 20 degrees. double floor installed with 703, wood, floating on rubber. Left and right walls have good absorbatino,diffusion already.

my problem areas are ceiling, back and frontwall (no treatment).

should I go the absorbing or diffusing way, and how to kill my early reflections?

You can buy thousands of cans containing ravioli and stack them into tall piles acting as bass traps. This will work until WW3 happens and you will have to eat all the cans to survive the nuclear strike while producing music. The only downside is that eventhough you will survive and still be recording, the bass response in your bunker will slowly deteriorate back to ordinary.

We have discussed in several earlier posts how to locate and treat early first reflections... These are best treated with Absorption that will cover down to low mid frequencies (at least 6" deep is using typ rigid fiberglas). Diffusion on the rear wall in a room of your size would be appropriate give the depth dimension you provided. How much and what type?? That's a matter of budget and how the rest of the room is setup. Don't feel obliged to cover everything up front with absorption, but definitely cover the first reflections on walls and ceiling (and possibly floors as we've also discussed earlier).
