Well, I know it looks weird with the pink bg, but it helps a little bit. Playing around with viewing the RGB channels in Photoshop and adjusting the levels on them for best contrast got me the ability to at least read it:

Actucally, I have info on this too. A fellow that I vactaion with is TV/media guy. One of the producers that he works with works a lot with Tom. Strangely it didn't surprise me when I heard the story.
