got my Benchmark the other day and was rather pleased with the sound of it.
however i've started to test it today and have come across something, the left channel seems to output slightly higher than the right. its amount of about 0.2-0.3 of a dB which i know does not sound a lot but its really bugging me
I tried what i was previously using out but and there is no problem it seems to be as normal.
so i played a track in mono and monitored the Benchmark output it was still showing that left side was slightly higher than the right.
With the other equipment all the peaks were pretty much the same
just to note that on the benchmark i haven't used the xlr output yet (haven't got the right cables as yet), this result is taking the output from the rca and the headphone output and it was the same for both.
this just doesn't seem right to me and as i've spent a lot of money on it (for me anyway) im a but miffed. is there anything i am missing
i know there is adjustable calibration pots for the left and right and the left looks like it has been altered slightly, but as far the manual states they are 2dB adjustment each time they are turned.
any ideas or have i bought a turkey
